Bridge Housing
Manna's Bridge Housing Program provides temporary shelter that aims to bridge the gap between homelessness and housing. After an individual or family has been selected for a housing opportunity through the Coordinated Entry system, participants have the opportunity to be referred to Manna's Bridge Housing program. We partner with local motels around Durango to use as a temporary shelter while participants wait to move into stable, long-term housing. With case management, basic needs support, and community organization partnerships, we strive to work alongside participants and offer a safe respite while working on housing-related goals.
To submit a referral to Manna's Bridge Housing or for further assistance, please contact Moxie McCandless at 970-764-5678 or email
Rapid Rehousing
The Rapid Rehousing Program provides participants with rental assistance and/or security deposit. To qualify for this program, participants must be experiencing chronic homelessness. Participants enrolled in this program also receive case manager assistance through the Housing Navigator to help them establish long term goals and ensure that they will be able to sustain their housing once they complete the program. Potential program participants need to meet with the Housing Navigator to fill out a Housing Assessment to determine if they qualify and must then be selected through Coordinated Entry. Coordinated Entry is a monthly meeting where people are matched to available, qualified housing programs - Permanent supportive housing, rental assistance or security deposit assistance. This program is funded by Colorado DOLA's Homeless Resolution Program (HRP) and Transformational Homelessness Response (THR) Grant.

Homelessness Prevention
Manna's Homelessness Prevention Program serves households at risk of eviction or homelessness and aims to keep them housed. This program functions with the understanding that one important way to combat homelessness is to support at risk populations before they are unhoused. This program provides support for back rent, short-term rental assistance, utility and/or moving assistance in addition to general case management services. To access these resources, potential participants program participants need to meet with Manna's Homeless Prevention Case Manager and go through our rental assistance request process, which includes an intake, income verification, budgeting, and case management. Qualifying households will have an income below 30% AMI and hold a lease in a unit priced within La Plata County's Fair Market Rent. This program is funded by Colorado DOLA's Homeless Resolution Program (HRP) and Transformational Homelessness Response (THR) Grant.
