remote volunteers

It has been too long since we’ve been able to have our volunteers actively participate with us at Manna. We miss our dedicated cooks, gardeners, and companions. These positions will be returning soon, and we ask for your patience until we can invite our community back.

In the meantime, Manna is seeking 4 dedicated volunteers to participate as our Volunteer Coordination team. This is a long-term volunteer opportunity, ranging from 5 – 10 hours per week, which will help us streamline our volunteer opportunities and operations. Interested candidates should have:

· Experience as a volunteer

· Effective communication and teamwork skills.

· Attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Computer skills.

Please note that in-person volunteer and community service opportunities are currently on hold due to Covid-19 safety precautions.

If you are interested in volunteering in the future, please email Marissa at to receive an update when our volunteer orientations resume.

Join is in feeding community and growing opportunities.

Manna is a valued leader in strengthening the quality of life and economic vitality of our region by helping people in need gain greater self-sufficiency. There are many ways in which you can help us fulfill our goals. Opportunities for volunteering are available seven days a week and include cooking, serving food, cleaning, food pick-ups, working in the garden, and more. Perhaps you even provide a professional service for our clients and/or staff.

We ask that all new volunteers join us for a volunteer orientation. We hold these trainings twice a month, generally lasting an hour. During our orientation, we will give you some history on our organization, tell you more about our work, and introduce you to our various programs. Additionally, we'll answer any questions you have about volunteering and introduce you to the different people you will be working with.
