Rebecca McKibben

Rebecca comes to Manna with over a decade of experience as an educator and a chef, and a lifelong commitment to service. After growing up in the San Luis Valley, Rebecca earned her degree in Communications from Northwestern University, and a Culinary Arts degree from Kendall College, in Chicago. Rebecca returned to the Southwest in 2015 to plant her roots, and comes to Manna after over four years of leading Cooking Matters food skills education for families at-risk of hunger across Southwest Colorado. From childhood backyard foraging for apricots in South Dakota, to farm-to-table fine dining restaurant experience in the big cities; Rebecca sees how food and place are inseparable, and champions Manna’s work increasing access to local food for everyone in the community. She is delighted to bring her passion and unique skillset to the Manna Culinary Program, training individuals who have experienced adversity with the professional and personal skills to thrive.
