As a Pennsylvania native, Katie has grown up exploring the hills of the Appalachian Mountains. Most days were spent outside playing with her friends or helping in her family’s garden. After graduating from The University of Findlay with a degree in Animal Science and Biology, Katie decided to pursue a career in Conservation to help connect people more with the natural environment around them. In this pursuit, she found the garden team at Manna. She is thrilled to be working towards making a difference in the Durango community by producing fresh fruits and veggies for everyone. In her free time, Katie enjoys backpacking, hiking, kayaking, and biking, among other outdoor activities.
