Colorado Homeless Contribution Income Tax Credit
Manna would like to inform you that our organization is currently participating in the Colorado Homeless Contribution Income Tax Credit (HCTC) program beginning in tax year 2023. The Colorado Homeless Contribution Income Tax Credit (HCTC) provides a state income tax credit to Colorado taxpayers who contribute to eligible homelessness-related projects within Colorado. Created by Colorado House Bill 2022 – 1083 (HB22-1083), HCTC replaces the Enterprise Zone Tax Credit previously available for donations to approved homeless support organizations. Manna is no longer eligible for the Enterprise Zone Tax Credit program. If you have donated $250.00 or more, your contribution would qualify for a 30% state income tax credit to Colorado taxpayers through the Colorado Homeless Contribution Income Tax Credit (HCTC) program.
If you would like to submit your contribution for approval for the tax credit, please complete the taxpayer contribution submission form by January 31, 2024 by clicking here and using the information below.

Donating Your Time
Every year our volunteers donate close to 10,000 hours of service. This not only helps people in need, but it also contributes to Manna’s leading role in bettering our community. Simply stated, we wouldn’t be where we are without the dedication of our volunteers. To learn more about how you can make a difference, contact us today or visit our volunteer page for more information.
Planned Giving:
Planned giving allows donors to give at a more substantial level using other resources such as life insurance, surplus real estate, stocks and securities, or other investments that may incur substantial taxes should you liquidate. We recommend that you speak with an attorney who specializes in estate planning when making these decisions. If you would like to leave a “legacy,” please contact Ann Morse, Executive Director, today at (970) 385-5095, ext. 107 or send an email to director@mannasoupkitchen.com for more information on different giving avenues.
