Feeding the Hungry
Manna serves breakfast, lunch, sack lunches and hot dinners to go Monday through Friday, and hot brunch and sack lunches on Saturday and Sunday. Our clients include the working poor, individuals, families, children, the elderly, and the homeless. Our sack lunch program fills the County’s Department of Human Services gaps by supplementing the food stamp program and school lunch program. Manna collaborates with business partners and other non-profits that provide food to their clients. Manna helps stock the Silverton Food Bank and re-distributes excess fresh and canned donations to the Food Bank, VOA Shelter, Safehouse, Hilltop House, Loaves and Fishes in Pagosa Springs, Headrick House in Pagosa Springs, Mercy Housing, and Navajo Nation. Manna has solid support from local business such as:

In 2010 Manna expects to:
serve 60,000 meals, provide 12,000 sack lunches, provide approximately 75 Greyhound bus tickets, distribute 1000 hygiene packs, provide 40 nights of emergency lodging, provide $1,750 in other critical/emergency services for families in crises, $1,000 in prescriptions, provide 5 students with internship opportunities.

Manna provides shower and laundry facilities for our clients.
Communications Center
Manna serves our clients' communications needs by providing mail, fax and package services.
Government and Agency Liaison
Manna's staff provides its clients with timely advice and assistance in finding community-service opportunities and contacting government or non-profit agencies to meet their needs.
Vouchers
Manna provides a variety of services for those in need of assistance. Manna, working in cooperation with various local merchants, human service agencies and churches, can provide emergency lodging, prescriptions, transportation, hygiene products, food and clothing. Manna has limited resources to help clients with many other crises from tooth extraction to fixing cars.
Community Christmas Dinner
Manna hosts an annual Christmas dinner on Christmas day. The dinner is attended by over 300 people including volunteers and participants. Live music is provided and a banquet-style holiday feast with turkey, steamship roasts and homemade desserts is served to Manna’s guests. Santa always shows and delivers gifts to children and adults.
Meeting Space
Manna makes its facilities available to other non-profit agencies for meetings.
Internships
Manna provides internship opportunities for non-traditional students and partners with the Big Picture High School, BOCES and Hilltop House. Student receive 6 months of training and mentoring from our kitchen manager, National Restaurant Assoc. ServSafe certification, knife set, and cooking instruction book. Students are taken on interviews at local restaurants.
Health Screening:
Manna coordinates with San Juan Basin Health to provide health screenings and flu shots.
